Castle Island Engagement Shoot in South Boston, MA | Erica and Richard

On a crisp fall morning in November I was honored with capturing Erica and Richard’s joyous engagement photographs. There was so much love between this couple. Just being in their company was special.

After speaking with Erica and Richard briefly, we decided to get together at my gallery located in Braintree, MA. Immediately we realized we were a perfect fit.

Once we went thru some of my older work and browsed the beautiful pieces I have on display the endeavor began. When a newly engaged couple reaches out to me I know it’s because they are in love with the beauty I captured documenting someone’s happily ever after.

I imagine that they somehow picture their special day. When I get the opportunity to listen to them tell me their love story my vision adapts.

Erica and Richard made this special engagement shoot extremely easy. Every one of my couples has such a uniquely diverse story. Being able to use my passion to chronicle a fairy tail is incredible to me. I wish everyone were as blessed as I am.

We had a great time laughing while we explored the peninsula in South Boston on the shore of Boston Harbor. Eventually Castle Island was linked to the mainland by a slender belt of land in 1928, this is when it lost its status as an island. Currently Castle Island is a historical twenty-two acre recreational area. It is also where Fort Independence is located.

Borderland State Park Engagement Session in Easton, MA | Sara and Matt

Not long ago I was contacted by this incredible couple inquiring about my Wedding Photography. After speaking with Sara and Matt briefly, we decided to get together at my gallery located in Braintree, MA. Immediately we realized we were a perfect fit we began our journey.

Once we went thru some of my older work and browsed the beautiful pieces I have on display the venture began. Sara and Matt had are getting married at Lake Pearl. Not only is this one of my favorite venues, I’m also a preferred vendor!

Lake Pearl in Wrentham Ma is one of New England’s most versatile estate wedding venues. The photo opportunities are endless. The staff is hands down the best!

Although Sara and Matt first contacted me to do their wedding photography it was only fitting that I capture their engagement photographs as a preview to the magic we were going to create as a team.

Sara and Matt decide that Borderland State Park in Eason, Ma was a perfect the location. The love between these two was infections, you could feel it radiating off them as we explored these breath-taking grounds.

Borderland State Park is a nature preserve with public relaxation areas in the towns of Easton and Sharon, Ma. The way that the town has done the landscape of this estate is unbelievable. The park covers 1,843 acres surrounding the Ames Mansion, built in 1910. This mansion is breath taking and makes for an marvelous image.

Boston Engagement Session Adventure in Boston, MA | Jill and Brian

Happily as Boston’s Best Wedding Photographer I have been chosen to capture and document another incredible couples love story. On a beautiful afternoon I was asked to accompany Jill and Brian on a journey around the remarkable city of Boston, Ma!

We started out our adventure at the Boston Harbor hotel. In addition to being right on the water it is right in the Seaport District, its character and detail highlight Boston’s historic Rowes Wharf.

When you arrive at the Boston Harbor Hotel the first thing that catches your eye is the iconic 60-foot stone archway, offering an introduction to the city like no other.  Keep in mind that this is Boston’s only waterfront Five-Star hotel!  This historic land mark greats guests who visit by land or sea to Rowes Wharf, built in 1987.

After capturing these amazing photos’ on the water, under the archway, and American Flag, we ventured over to Acorn Street in the stunning Beacon Hill area of Boston.

This historic neighborhood is known for its narrow streets and brick sidewalks. Acorn Street is one of the most photographed streets in the United States.

We had a splendid time exploring the city while we discussed Jill and Brian’s upcoming wedding ceremony. I have been invited to lend my creative and artistic eye to their special day while I practice my wedding photography skills. Part of the reason I enjoy my craft so much is because I am always learning and it never feels like work.

As we made our way through the neighborhood we we headed to Boston Public Garden. As expected the afternoon was unforgettable. It’s hard to express my excitement for their May wedding but I can’t wait! Once again I’ll be right in the middle of a fairy tail unfolding.

The wedding reception is going to be held at The Omni Parker House. A legendary mark in downtown Boston since 1855, Omni Parker House showcases old-world charm and grace coupled with all of the up-to-date amenities of a world-class hotel. Developed in the soul of Boston, it’s right along the Freedom Trail and at the bottom of Beacon Hill, Boston Common, Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall Marketplace.

Christopher Columbus Park Engagement Session in Boston, MA | Bhumika and Shrenik

Fortunately, as Boston’s Best Wedding Photographer, I was asked to lend my artistic touch to capture and document another wonderful couples love story. On a gorgeous afternoon in October, Bhumika, Shrenik and myself walked around the extraordinary city of Boston, Ma!

The sun was just getting ready to set when we started our adventure down by Boston Harbor waterfront. There is something so romantic about being on the water when the sun begins to go down.

The whole area’s character, and detail beautifully highlight Boston’s historic Rowes Wharf.

Then we made our way over to Christopher Columbus Park, allowing us to capture more incredible photographs.

As we continued our journey we ended up at The Greenway Carousel. Bhumika and Shrenik put a lot of thought into their engagement session. They went with a few different looks. Some people don’t understand what a difference a nice color scheme makes in a photograph. The breathtaking red dress that Bhumika wore went perfectly with Shrenik’s tie and the rest of their color scheme. When we arrived at the carousel I knew the pictures were going to be incredible.

We had a splendid time exploring the city while we discussed Bhumika and Shrenik’s upcoming wedding ceremony.

Red Lion Inn Wedding in Cohasset, MA | Rebecca and Josh

I recently had the honor of capturing Rebecca and Josh’s wedding photography on a crisp fall October afternoon at The Red Lion Inn in Cohasset, Ma 30 miles south of Boston, Ma.

All of the bridesmaids were laughing and joking while they were getting their hair and makeup done.

Lots of inside jokes were thrown back and fourth between the groom and the groom’s men. It always takes the edge off, no matter what its only human to be nervous regardless of how in love a couple is!

This venue has a lot of history behind it and you can tell as soon as you walk through the door it is absolutely breathtaking. It used to be used as a stop on the route for the Underground Railroad to shelter slaves that had escaped.

Hundreds of years ago it essentially housed drunken celebrities.

The Red Lion Inn was once a home for explorers in addition to being a vacationing spot for locals. Honestly, if you take the time to thumb through some of the history its really fun and interesting to learn about.

In 1704 a man named Thomas James met his bride to be, Patience Farrow, and they began building their dream home in a small town now known as Cohasset. It is part of that house that still stands today known as the Red Lion Inn.

Over three hundred years later it still exceeds the needs of its guests and provides shelter food and drink for all. In addition to the basic expectations of a beautiful venue the staff is incredible. From start to finish every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure everything went off without any issues.

Duxbury Beach Engagement Session | Rebecca and Josh

Recently I was blessed with being chosen to capture Rebecca & Josh’s engagement photographs on a beautiful Monday afternoon in and around their incredible home.

Shortly after speaking with Rebecca and Josh we made the decision to meet up at my gallery in Braintree, Ma so I could explain my process in greater detail. Almost immediately we realized we were a great fit. I knew they were going to be so much fun to photograph.

You can tell by some of my favorite photos that I was correct! The entire afternoon while I was with this great couple there was so much love. We were all laughing and joking until the sun went down.

Christopher Columbus Park Engagement Shoot in Boston, MA | Casey and Steven

I recently had the pleasure of capturing Casey and Steven’s engagement photographs on a beautiful summer afternoon at Christopher Columbus Park in Boston, Ma.

Casey and Steven recently got engaged.

This amazing couple has been together for years.

This couple was very easy to photograph and their location choice was perfect.

Christopher Columbus Park is really a neighborhood Park. It was built in 1974. In 1999, the Boston Parks and Recreation Department and Mayor Thomas M. Menino’s Office began working with the North End/Waterfront community on a multimillion-dollar park renovation project. They ended up renewing the dying lawns and made major enhancements in numerous areas of the Park, by enlarging the lawn areas, adding a dual-purpose, circular presentation area and building a bigger playground. The park is historical and a standard landmark that tourists often visit.

Falmouth Yacht Club Wedding in Falmouth, MA | Meaghan and Tim

Recently I was contacted by this incredible couple inquiring about my Wedding Photography. After speaking with Meaghan and Tim, we decided to get together at my gallery located in Braintree, MA. Instantly we recognized we were a great fit and that’s were our incredible venture began.

After going through some of my older work and looking at the pieces I have on display we decided on doing an engagement session. I love being able to capture a couples love story right from the beginning. Hopefully I’ll be part of their infant and newborn photography when they decide to have children.

Meaghan was a beautiful bride. Everyone was having a great time while the ladies were getting their hair and make-up done.

What a sweet and fun couple. They met online and dated for 9 months before Tim popped the question.

Meaghan and Tim love football. During their engagement session we captured a few shots of them throwing the ball. Meaghan mentioned them that she even wanted to throw the football around in her wedding dress and as you can see she did.

What a beautiful venue the Falmouth Yacht Club is. Especially for a wedding on an absolutely beautiful afternoon in June. Any time I can capture photographs on the beach it takes my breath away.

Falmouth Yacht Club was created by a few sailboat-racing fanatics in the 40’s. Once the yacht club got going it only grew, that’s why they decided to open the clubhouse in 1946. The club has continued to stay true to its sailing and racing tradition while growing and adjusting to the needs of its members.

Boston Public Garden Engagement Session in Boston, MA | Lauren and Bryan

Recently, I was honored with the task of capturing Lauren and Bryan’s engagement photos. I have also been contracted to provide wedding photography for this amazing couple as well in the near future. I honestly can’t wait.

Being able to document a love journey from the proposal to the I do is one of my favorite things about being Boston’s best wedding photographer

We captured this adorable couple at Boston Public Garden. Boston Public Garden is an absolutely amazing park to photograph. The backdrops are amazing and provide limitless photography options.

The Boston Public Garden is a 24-acre park in the soul of Boston, Ma, adjacent to   Boston Common.  It was the first public botanical garden in America.

Bryan and Lauren have been together for couple years now. They are so in love, you can see it on their faces in every photograph. Capturing the love was easy 

They met on a popular dating site, Plenty of Fish, and both new very early on that they had finally found the loves of their life in one another.

All of us had great time walking through the park joking and laughing along the way.

I met Lauren and Bryan through a previous wedding client. They said they knew right away when they say the amazing photographs I had captured of their friends that they wanted to hire me for their love journey as well.

Lauren and Bryan are getting married in June at Hyland Orchard & Pavilion in Sturbridge Ma. Sturbridge, MA is about 60 miles outside of Boston in the heart of Massachusetts’ apple country. Personally I haven’t photographed at this venue as of yet but I am really looking forward to it. Through my research I have found that this incredible venue is set on one of the highest elevations in the lovely town. The beautiful hillside, with pristine surroundings, provides a tranquil backdrop for any occasion. I’ve already located several beautiful settings that we are looking forward to capturing on their special day.

Generations Banquet Hall Wedding in Avon, MA | Michael and Shakira

I recently had the pleasure of capturing Shakira & Michael’s wedding photography on a beautiful May afternoon during an intimate wedding ceremony.

During the entire day there was so much love. Everyone was laughing and joking.

This caring and outgoing couple said there “I do’s” in front of friends and family. Shakira looked incredible in her wedding dress.

All day long everyone was enjoying themselves. You could feel the love radiating off of these amazing newlyweds.

Generations was a great venue. The reception hall was set up so lovely. The landscaped grounds made for endless photo opportunities. All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure that the bride and groom were happy with everything.

During the wedding reception, we snuck outside to capture beautiful photographs! This was one of my favorites.

Everyone had a great time at the wedding dancing the night away!

Flag Hill Distillery & Winery Wedding in Lee, NH | Otuko and Frank

I recently had the pleasure of capturing Otuko and Frank’s wedding photography on a gorgeous April evening. After also capturing their engagement photos a few months back I had been looking forward to working with them again as we had such an amazing time during that session.

During the engagement shoot this couple exemplified love; one could see it every time they looked at each other. Obviously all of my wonderful couples are in love but when you can see it radiating off them and I am able to capture it that just proves I was born to do what I do with my camera.

We started the day off at The Exeter Inn in Exeter, NH. Otuko and Frank decided not to have a wedding party, which made it feel a little more personal. You could feel the love through out the entire day

Once everyone was ready we headed over to Flag Hill Distillery and Winery.

Flag Hill Distillery and Winery is an incredible venue. This place made my job feel more like an adventure. It sits on a 110-acre conservation, which preserves the property to remain in agriculture forever.

The farm transferred from a dairy farm to a vineyard in 1987 after the planting of the first grapes on the property and the first harvest was in 1990. In 2004 Flag Hill Distillery also began formulating vodka from the utmost top quality apples New Hampshire has to offer.

The estate sincerely showcases the abundance that only New Hampshire can offer. Everything at Flag Hill is rooted in excellence. Every decision that is made is made with the intention of doing it better.

Pond Meadow Park Pre-Wedding Engagement Session in Braintree, MA | Manveen & Sumeet

I recently met up with Manveen and Sumeet for an engagement session. The couple wanted a winter wonderland themed photo shoot. Lucky for them, a huge snow storm hit New England the day before the shoot and left a foot of fresh fluffy snow.

The couple met through mutual friends and dated for 2 months before Sumeet popped the question. Manveen and Sumeet are getting married next month in India. The sweet couple currently live in San Diego, CA and flew to Boston for the weekend just for this shoot. The snow covered trees in the Pond Meadow Park made for a breathtaking backdrop for portraits.

Located in Braintree, MA, Pond Meadow Park is a 320 acre green oasis just a few miles outside of downtown Boston, MA. It is a fantastic location for hiking, fishing, picnics and BBQ.

The Hampshire House Wedding in Boston, MA | Annmarie & Brian

It was a cold snowy winter day on Annmarie and Brian's wedding day. The lovely couple met in Afghanistan and dated for a number of years before tying the knot at the Hampshire House in downtown Boston.

Annmarie looked absolutely stunning in her lace wedding gown. Annmarie's sister was the maid of honor and Brian's son was the best man.

Brian's wedding attire was extravagant. He was "dressed to the teeth" in his military blues.

The cocktail hour took place in the Baker Bar. The wedding ceremony and reception took place in the Library Grill room.

The staff at the Hampshire House did such an amazing job transforming the room for the wedding reception.

Build in 1910, the Hampshire House has so much character and charm. The mansion is beautifully covered with carved oak and features a spectacular fireplace, grand piano, chandeliers, and grand staircases. Conveniently located in Beacon Hill right across the street from the Boston Public Garden, this was such an amazing wedding venue. Daniela Bradburn did such a fantastic job coordinating the wedding and ensured everything flowed flawlessly.

During the reception, we snuck outside to record some shots of the gorgeous couple. It was blistering cold that night but we braved the freezing temperatures to capture these magical moments. Annmarie and Brian agreed it was well worth it!

Engagement Session in Ashland, MA | Christina & Chris

I recently met up with Christina and Chris for an engagement session in Ashland, MA.

The beautiful couple have known each other for 16 years but only started dating 2 years ago. Chris knew she was "the one" and popped the question soon after they started dating. Christina was thrilled! She planned her entire wedding within 2 months of getting engaged, which is quite a feat.

We found a hidden gem in Ashland. The landscaping and fresh cut wood made the perfect backdrop for this casual engagement photo shoot.

Wedding at Home Intimate Ceremony | Paulina and Steven

I recently had the pleasure of capturing Paulina & Steven’s wedding photography on a beautiful Febuary afternoon during an intimate wedding ceremony.

During the entire day there was so much love. Everyone was laughing and joking. A few months back I was also honored with capturing Paulina and Steven’s engagement photographs. You can catch a glimpse of one of my favorite engagement pictures in the background of the picture below.

This kindhearted and friendly couple said their “I do’s” in front of friends and family. Paulina looked beautiful in her wedding dress. Every detail was so classy and elegant.

Following the ring exchange the couple had a wedding sand ceremony. Paulina and Steven each had different colored sand and they took turns pouring it into one clear vessel, forming a layered effect. The wedding sand ceremony is a symbolic combination of the couple's lives into one mutually loving union.

Minute Man National Historic Park Engagement Shoot in Concord, MA | Jill & Justin

I recently captured Jill and Justin's engagement session at the Minute Man National Historic Park in Concord, MA. The beautiful landscaping and the Old North bridge made a wonderful backdrop for portraits.

Jill and Justin started dating when they were 17 and have been dating for six and a half years. Justin was friends with Jill's brothers. As the youngest of 6 kids and the only girl, Jill's brothers were very protective of their baby sister. Justin had to ask each of the brothers for permission to date Jill. The brothers approved and Jill and Justin had their first date at an apple orchid. Five years later, Justin proposed at an apple orchid. How adorable!

Jill and Justin are getting married in East Lyme, CT this September. I'm so excited to work with them again on their wedding day!

The Minute Man National Historic Park was created to commemorate the opening battle of the American Revolution which took place in 1775. The park spans over 5 miles within the towns of Concord, Lincoln and Lexington. There are many scenic trails that are great for hiking, biking and picnics.

Country Club Wedding Videography at Kirkbrae Country Club Lincoln, RI | Tammy & Kevin

I recently captured Tammy and Kevin's wedding at the Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln, RI.

The couple had a destination wedding in Jamaica. The following week, they had another wedding ceremony and reception in Rhode Island so their family and friends could witness their love.

Prior to reading their wedding vows, they performed a love lock unity ceremony. Tammy and Kevin clasped two locks together as symbol of their commitment to each other. The locks are to be thrown in the ocean to never be opened again. 

What a beautiful wedding! The floral arrangement and ice sculpture were absolutely stunning! A special round of applause and mention must be said of their wedding planner, Tiffany Marsocci. Tiffany ensured the couple's wedding day went flawlessly. Tiffany not only focused on the tiny details but kept everyone in a great mood and made Tammy feel very comfortable throughout the day.

Pond Meadow Park Engagement Shoot in Braintree, MA | Paulina and Steven

On a crisp fall afternoon in November I was privileged to capture Paulina and Steven’s blissful engagement photographs.

After speaking with Paulina and Steven briefly, we decided to get together at my gallery located in Braintree, MA. Immediately we realized we were a flawless fit. 

I love it when a newly engaged couple contacts me.  I know it’s because they are in love with the photographs they have already seen while I was documenting someone’s love story. It a few short months I will be capturing their wedding photography as well and I couldn’t be more thrilled.

Paulina and Steven made this engagement shoot particularly easy.

Every one of my couples have such a distinctively different story. Being able to use my passion to record it is unbelievable to me.

We had a great time laughing while we traveled around Pond Meadow Park. Its just a lovely area made up of 320 acres. Its located between Braintree and Weymouth, Ma about 20 minutes south of Boston, Ma. Its 20 acre dam and pond provide flood protection to the Weymouth landing area nearby.

Houghton's Pond Engagement Session in Milton, MA | Meaghan & Tim

I recently met up with Meaghan and Tim on a beautiful October afternoon to capture their engagement photos at Houghton's Pond in Milton, MA. 

What a sweet and fun couple. They met online and dated for 9 months before Tim popped the question.

Meaghan and Tim love football, she even mentioned that she wants to throw a football in her wedding dress.

Located in the Blue Hills Reservation, Houghton's Pond is a 24 acre green oasis just outside of downtown Boston, MA. It is a great location to swim, hike, fish, BBQ, and picnic.  

We had so much fun during this engagement shoot. Meaghan and Tim are getting married in June 2017 in Cape Cod, MA. I am so excited to capture their wedding photography on their big day.

Lake Pearl Fairy Tale Wedding Photo Shoot in Wrentham, MA | Janie & Marc

On a beautiful fall day, Janie and Marc were married at Luciano's on Lake Pearl. What an adorable and loving couple! These two hopeless romantics dreamed of an enchanted fairy tale wedding just like in the Disney movies.

The couple had their wedding ceremony in a chapel overlooking Lake Pearl. The harpist played Aladdin's "A Whole New World" as the wedding guests arrived. 

Janie looked like a princess in her gorgeous ball gown and diamond crown as her father walked her down the aisle.

This wedding ceremony was officiated by a Rabbi and a Priest to incorporate both Jewish and Christian traditions. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the unity candles and closed with the breaking of the glass.

Their "I dos" were sealed with a kiss.

The boat house chapel was nestled right on the edge of Lake Pearl. After the ceremony, I captured breathtaking photographs along the water. 

Janie and Marc took dance lessons in preparation for their big day. They rehearsed their first dance on the beach one last time before heading to the reception. 

Located in Wrentham, MA, Luciano's on Lake Pearl is a premier wedding venue in the South Shore. What a fantastic establishment! There were so many locations on the premises that provided a variety of gorgeous backdrops for portraits.

The bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning in their royal blue chiffon gowns.

The cocktail hour took place in the East Garden Room (below) and the wedding reception took place in the Garden Room. 

It was so touching to see the union of the two families.

During the wedding reception, we snuck outside to capture more magical moments! Lake Pearl's boat house chapel, gardens, pumpkin carriage, arches and gazebos allowed for so many amazing opportunities for photographs.
