Saphire Estate Wedding in Sharon, MA | Nathaelle and Ross

I recently had the pleasure of capturing Nathaelle and Ross’s wedding photo’s on a beautiful summer afternoon.

We started the day off capturing a few stunning photographs of Nathaelle and her bridal party getting ready.

Then it was on to Ross and his groomsmen, everyone was in such a great mood.

The ceremony was held at Saphire Estate in Sharon Ma about 20

minutes outside of Boston, Ma.

For forty years, the Saphire family has been chasing their passion: making top-notch, once-in-a-lifetime events for their clients. They are widely celebrated for their attention to detail, both their attentive staff and pristine venues never disappoint. They have three venues —Saphire Estate, The Villa and Avenir—and they pride themselves in maintaining fresh, well-appointed and up-to-date surroundings.

It was beautiful and gave me so many opportunities for amazing pictures.

All of the staff were extremely attentive and made sure my assistant and I had everything we needed throughout the day.

There was so much love and laughter throughout the day. It was my pleasure to be a part of this joyous occasion.

Spinnellis Pasta and Pastry Shop Photo Booth and Event Photography in Lynnfield, MA | Steven’s 50th Birthday

Not to long ago I was contacted by the incredible Lydia about my photo booth rental for her husband Steven’s 50th surprise birthday party. Afer speaking with Lydia I couldn’t wait to be part of this memorable occasion.

After brainstorming a few ideas she decided to also have me put together an amazing slide show that ran throughout the entire party for her friends and family to watch on a projector.

In addition to my fantastic photo booth Lydia asked me to capture a few pictures of the surprise when Steven walked in that they will now have for a lifetime to cherish. Steven was so amazed that she was able to pull this surprise birthday bash off, as it was the size of a wedding, her words, LOL.

The surprise party took place at Spinelli’s in Lynnfield, Ma about 40 minutes north of Boston, MA. http://spinellis.com/lynnfield/

The beautiful grounds are on the picturesque Suntaug Lake. It’s an amazing location for any private event including magical weddings, which made it perfect for Steven’s surprise birthday extravaganza.

Spinellis’s offers gorgeous ballrooms that can accommodate 50 to 250 guests. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure that everything runs smoothly and every guest is happy. They even made sure that I had everything that I needed.

Everyone at the party had an amazing time and had nothing but loving things to say about Steven. As the evening went on I received compliment after compliment about everything from the slide show to the photo booth, which was a hit. Lydia was a pleasure to work with and I can’t wait to work with her in the future.

Heart Of The City Studio Photo-shoot in Boston, MA | Heart Of The City

Lake Pearl Wedding in Wrentham, MA | Sara & Matt

I recently had the pleasure of capturing Sara & Matt’s wedding photography on a beautiful June afternoon at Lake Pearl in Wrentham Ma, one of New England’s most versatile estate wedding venues, and one of my favorite venues to collaborate with.

The day started out at Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham in Frankin, MA where we met up with Matt and his groom’s men for some detail shots. All of the men were having a great time laughing and joking with Matt while he was getting ready.

Soon after we headed over to Lake Pearl to meet up with Sara and her bridal party. All Lake Pearl brides enjoy their very own private bridal suites. Bridal attendants provide hors d’oeuvre, cheese & crackers, champagne and bar service. The suite also offered a fun environment for incredible photos of Sara and her ladies helping her get ready.

This warm and friendly couple said their “I do’s” in front of friends and family in Lake Pearls beautiful out door gazebo, set alongside a pristine 128-acre natural lake. Sara looked incredible in her wedding gown as everyone stood to watch her walk down the isle.

Following the ring exchange the couple had a wedding sand ceremony. Sara and Matt each had different colored sand and they took turns pouring it into one clear vessel, forming a layered effect. The wedding sand ceremony is a symbolic combination of the couple's lives into one mutually loving union.

The couple, who are among the most adventurous I have met, played a video that documented some of the endeavors they have done together during the reception which was fun to watch. From hiking, mountain climbing, to kayaking, these too are now officially locked into this beautiful journey of marriage together.

The cocktail hour took place in the Tree Top Lounge and the wedding reception took place in the romantic Tree Top Room, one of Lake Pearl's most popular rooms for intimate weddings. Colleen Calzaretta, Director of Service, was such a breath of fresh air to work with as usual. She always makes sure that every detail is beautiful.

After the new Mr. and Mrs. were announced for the first time as husband and wife they went right into their first dance together to Led Zeppelin’s Thank you which was a perfect song for them. During the reception the best man, Neil gave a funny yet heartfelt speech about Matt and how Sara completes and compliments him all at the same time. This was followed by a speech from the maid of honor, Jessica (Sara’s sister, which made everyone laugh out loud while also bringing tears to everyone’s eyes. It was evident how close Sara and her siblings were throughout the day.

During the wedding reception, we snuck outside to capture more dreamlike photographs! Lake Pearl's boathouse chapel, gardens, pumpkin carriage, arches and gazebos allowed for so many amazing photo opportunities as always.

Elks Lodge Wedding in Randolph, Ma | Shanay and Carlos

I recently had the honor of capturing Shanay and Carlos’s wedding photography on an unbelievable sunny afternoon in June at the Elks Lodge in Randolph, Ma about 15 minutes south of Boston.

Our lovely day started out capturing some beautiful photographs of Shanay and her bridal party getting ready at the Hyatt Place in Braintree, MA. All of the bridesmaids were laughing and joking while they were getting their hair and makeup done.  

After that it was on to Carlos and his groomsmen.  Everyone was having such a great time.

Once everyone was ready we headed over to The Elks Lodge for a beautiful ceremony. Shanay looked stunning in her gown. Carlos was so excited to be marrying the love of his life you could see it on his face and in his eyes.

After the lovely couple said their “ I do’s” we headed over to John J. Demarco park in Randolph, Ma for some beautiful photographs of the newly weds and their wedding party.

Once we were done with those photographs we made our way back to the Elks Lodge and the party started. There was truly so much love throughout the entire evening.

Boston Public Gardens Engagement Session in Boston, MA | Nathaelle and Ross

I recently had the pleasure of capturing Nathaelle and Ross’s engagement photos on an absolutely gorgeous afternoon. We captured this amazing couple at the Boston Public Garden in Boston, MA.

As you can see from the pictures Nathaelle is absolutely glowing, she is going to be a beautiful bride. They have been together for almost 11 years. They met at Nathaelle’s job.

Nathaelle and Ross are getting married in the near future and I am looking forward to photographing their wedding as well. Ross proposed at a concert and Nathaelle accepted right away.

Nathaelle is a lab technician and Ross is a police officer. They have two children between them but plan on having more.

The Boston Public Garden is a 24-acre park in the soul of Boston, Ma, adjacent to Boston Common. It was the first public botanical garden in America.

Oceanview of Nahant Wedding in Nahant, MA | Tracy and Todd

I recently had the pleasure of capturing Tracy and Todd’s wedding photographs on an amazing summer afternoon in June at The Oceanview of Nahant. Nahant is about 20 minutes north of Boston, MA.

This hidden gem allowed for absolutely incredible pictures inside and outside on this joyous day. The Oceanview of Nahant is nestled on one of the most magnificent, charming points of the Atlantic Ocean. There are two beautiful locations to say “I Do”. You can opt to go with the stunning Beach Stone Terrace; outside overlooking the glistening waters of the beautiful sea or the magnificent grand Ballroom; comfortably inside where giant windows border your ceremony while waves gently crash in the background. Both options are amazing but Tracy and Todd went with the Beach Stone Terrance.

This adoring couple has been dating for five years.

Tracy has two sons, Ryan and Matty, from a previous relationship. Ryan is thirteen and Matty is nine. They played a huge roll in the days festivities and had a great time.

Todd also has two children from a previous relationship. The beautiful Catie who is almost twenty-one and Connor who is seventeen. This blended family had nothing but love and kind words for each other and you could see it throughout the day.

Tracy and Todd purchased a home together two years ago on a pond in Lynn. Shortly after purchasing their new home Todd decided to pop the question. He brought Tracy out on the pond and got down on one knee. She accepted right away!

Both Todd and Tracy wanted their wedding day to be a big party with less formality and so it was. Everyone had a great time.

After the wedding these two are heading to Wellfleet in Cape Cod for a short little honeymoon. They are planning on waiting until December to go on their official honeymoon in the Bahamas.

Hyland Orchard & Pavilion Wedding in Sturbridge, MA | Lauren & Bryan

I recently had the pleasure of capturing Bryan and Lauren’s wedding photography on an incredible sunny day in June at Hyland Orchard & Pavilion in Sturbridge Ma which is about sixty miles outside of Boston in the heart of Massachusetts’ apple country.  This incredible venue is set on one of the highest elevations in the lovely town. The beautiful hillside, with pristine surroundings, provides a tranquil backdrop for any occasion.

We started out at the Holiday Inn in Sturbridge where everyone was enjoying himself or herself while getting ready.

All of the bridesmaids were laughing and joking while they were getting their hair and makeup done.  

The bride gave intimate gifts to her bridal party and Lauren received one very special gift from one of her bride’s maids. 

For years and years Lauren held onto her purple prom dress while everyone poked fun and finally one day she decided to give it up.  Lauren finally dropped it off at a good will type of place and her girlfriend went and re-purchased it. 

Probably one of the most thoughtful wedding gifts I have seen given thus far her girlfriend had a portion of the prom dress turned into a garter belt for Lauren to wear during her special day.  It was part of something old turned into something new and she was extremely touched by the gesture.

The bride took a few minutes before we left to take some dramatic photos next to her father’s vintage hot rod.  They came out amazing.

When we arrived at the venue Doe, the Coordinator at Hyland Orchard greeted us with the warmest smile.  She went out of her way for the couple and their guests. Hyland Orchard’s vintage John Deere tractor wagon brought all of their guests to the ceremony on the hill.

Engagement Session on Acorn Street and at Boston Harbor Hotel in Boston, MA | Maryann & Stephen

I recently had the pleasure of capturing Maryann and Stephen’s engagement photographs on a cool sunny June morning. First, on Acorn Street, then a few more at the Boston Harbor Hotel and Seaport area.  

Zach, Stephen’s 15 year-old son came along to the engagement shoot.

Maryann and Stephen are getting married in August at the Long Wharf Marriott in Boston MA and I can’t wait to capture this amazing couples special day!

Acorn Street is in the Beacon Hill area of Boston Ma. This historic neighborhood is known for its narrow streets and brick sidewalks. Acorn Street is one of the most photographed streets in the United States.

When you arrive at the Boston Harbor Hotel the first thing that catches your eye is the iconic 60-foot stone archway which offers an introduction to the city like no other.  Boston’s only waterfront Five-Star hotel welcomes guests who arrive by land or sea to historic Rowes Wharf, which was built in 1987.

Although we didn’t make it to Christopher Columbus park all of the photos we were able to capture came out incredible nonetheless! Stay tune for their wedding photos coming soon!

Photo Booth Rental Revere High School, Revere Ma | Class of 2018 Sr. Prom

I recently had the honor of renting my photo booth to Revere High School for their Senior Prom! Revere High School is a public four-year high school in Revere, MA about 20 minutes north of Boston Ma. The graduating class had over 500 seniors.

I had the pleasure of working with Megan whom was this year’s prom queen and I have to say was rightfully deserved with all of her accolades and beauty.  It was incredible to meet and greet this amazing class made up of all different walks of life, the crowd was extremely diverse.

They opted to go with my 4-hour open-air photo booth.  There was barely enough time for me to capture all of the excitement.  A senior prom is such a right of passage as a teenager and is typically one last chance for everyone to get together as a class.  Throughout the entire event my photo booth was filled non-stop with laughter, excitement and anticipation of the next chapter for these incredible young adults.  

The event was held at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel perfectly positioned in Boston's picturesque Seaport District, offering guests a unique vantage point to discover the city. Supremely positioned for either relaxation or professional travel, the hotel is located near TD Garden, Boston Convention and Exhibition Center and Boston Harbor Cruises.

Boston Studio Rental Product Photography in Braintree, Ma | TMDJewelryCreations on Etsy

I recently had the opportunity to capture some incredible photographs of this beautiful custom handmade fine jewelry by TMD Jewelry Creations at my brand new studio, Boston Studio Rental in Braintree, MA. 

While I am mainly a wedding photographer I truly enjoy lending my artistic skills to anything that involves photography, as it truly is my passion. I worked with Ginger while lending my creative touch to this breath taking jewelry.

Using my custom light scheme I was able to create a completely white background to enhance the gorgeous details of these amazing pieces. Ginger wanted there to be nothing taking away from the detail of each handcrafted design. After making a few small changes I was able to deliver exactly what she was looking for.

This company actually started with a sketch that a woman created of her dream engagement ring and her future husband to be made it come to life. After talking for hours and going back and fourth with ideas these two became a team forever they got married and started their own company making others dreams come true. All you have to do is give them your idea and they will make it come to life. Tell them what you love! They believe in love, and are flattered to be a small part of your love story. Photo Booth Rental Pembroke MA | Alanna's Graduation Party

I recently rented my photo booth at Alanna’s Graduation Party. Her family and friends gathered at her house in Pembroke Ma to celebrate this momentous occasion.  Pembroke MA is roughly 45 minutes outside of Boston Ma.

Alanna graduated from Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree MA, which is a neutral, Catholic, college prep school fro grades 7-12. 

Alanna’s friends and family had extraordinary things to say about her and everyone commented on how proud they were.  They chose to go with my 4-hour photo booth rental, which was filled with love, laughter, and happiness for the entire event.

Alanna is going to be continuing her education at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut where she will pursue a degree in physical therapy

The Omni Parker House Wedding in Boston, MA | Brian and Jillian

I recently had the honor of capturing Jillian and Brian’s wedding photo’s on a beautiful sunny day in May in Winthrop Ma about 20 minutes north of Boston MA

We started out at the happy couples house as everyone was enjoying themselves while getting ready. All of the bridesmaids were laughing and joking while they were getting their hair and makeup done.  Everyone in the wedding party received special little thank yous from the couple before all getting dressed.  

Their dresses were beautiful.  Erin was a junior bridesmaid and added a lot of spunk to the special day.

Jillian looked absolutely breath taking in her dress.  Once everyone was ready they all jumped on the trolley for the trip to the church! 

Jillian and Brian were wed at St. John The Evangelist in Winthrop Ma .  The ceremony was amazing.  The groom’s sister-in-law Michelle did the first reading which was Genesis 2:18-24.  

After the couple exchanged their vows there was a blessing of the rings followed by unity candle lighting.

Following the wedding the new husband and wife along with the wedding party jumped back on the trolley to head to the reception at the Omni Parker House in Boston Ma

A legendary mark in downtown Boston since 1855, Omni Parker House boasts old-world charm and grace accompanied by all of the up-to-date amenities of a world-class establishment. Settled in the heart of Boston, it’s located along the Freedom Trail and at the base of Beacon Hill, Boston Common, Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall Marketplace

The reception was help in the Roof Top ballroom following a cocktail hour.  This was one of the most beautiful venues.

Boston Public Garden & Acorn Street Engagement Shoot in Boston, MA | Jeremy and Mimi

I recently had the pleasure of capturing Jeremy and Mimi’s engagement photos on an absolutely gorgeous afternoon in May.   First we captured this amazing couple at the Boston Public Garden and then walked over to the Beacon Hill area for a few more engagement photos.  

Mimi and Jeremy met on-line thru plenty of fish www.pof.com and instantly connected. Being in the presence of these two you could see and feel the love between them! 

Mimi and Jeremy are getting married in April of 2019 and I couldn’t be happier for them! They chose to use the ledge of the Lagoon Bridge in the Boston Public Garden for there save the date photos and they ended up being some of my favorite photos.

The Boston Public Garden is a 24-acre park in the soul of Boston, Ma, adjacent to Boston Common.  It was the first public botanical garden in America.

Beacon Hill is a historic neighborhood in Boston, Ma. It is a community of Federal-style row houses and is known for its narrow streets and brick sidewalks.  The breath taking architecture and historical feel make for an amazing backdrop!

Boston Public Garden Graduation in Boston, MA | Maram

I recently had the honor of capturing Maram’s graduation photo’s on a beautiful sunny afternoon in May.

Maram is an incredibly smart woman who just graduated from Boston University with her Masters and will be continuing her education for her PhD.

Although I didn’t know Maram outside of doing her graduation photography my assistant and I couldn’t help but feel proud of her.  What she has accomplished already is amazing and her plans are to keep doing more of the same!

Most people don’t know that Boston University started as a Methodist college in Vermont. First named the Newbury Biblical Institute, the school moved to New Hampshire in 1847 and was appointed as Boston University in 1869 after three trustees effectively brought the school to Massachusetts.

Boston University was the first university to open all divisions to female students as well as the FIRST American University to award a PhD to a woman!

Revere Beach Engagement Session in Revere, MA | Megan & Andrew

I recently had the pleasure of capturing Megan and Andrew’s engagement photo’s at Revere Beach in Revere Ma about twenty minutes outside of Boston, MA.  

This fun loving couple met online and are getting married! Megan and Andrew share an interest of video games and entertainment media and have bonded over this joint passion! 

Megan and Andrew are getting married in October 2018 at the Multicultural Arts Center in Cambridge, Ma. 

These two have high hopes for there future and getting married is just one step!

Lake Pearl Wedding in Wrentham, MA | Sam & Jen

I recently had the pleasure of capturing Sam and Jen’s wedding photography on a beautiful May afternoon at Lake Pearl in Wrentham Ma, 40 minutes outside of Boston, MA one of New England’s most beautiful estate wedding locations. 

We started the day off at Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham in Franklin Ma where the couple was getting ready for the big day. 

Once we left the Hawthorne Suites it was straight to Lake Pearl!

This amazing couple’s wedding ceremony was officiated right on the edge of the water over looking Lake Pearl. The DJ, Chris Chapel (http://www.uniquesounds.com) played an instrumental version of “ A Thousand Years” while the wedding party walked down the isle. It almost brought me to tears. 

Jen looked amazing in her wedding gown as everyone stood to watch her walk down the isle. The way these two looked at each other was beautiful, one could see the love.

During the wedding ceremony Jen’s grandfather George read 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 before Jen and Sam shared their own very heart felt written vows.  

Their “ I dos” were sealed with a kiss.

After the ceremony, I captured breathtaking photographs along the water. What a fantastic wedding venue! There were so many locations on the premises that provided a variety of gorgeous backdrops for portraits. Sam and Jen decided on a smaller bridal party, making their wedding day a lot more personal and a little more special. The bridesmaids looked beautiful in their lovely gowns. 

I wanted everyone to have their own pose so I told them to do what felt right and here is what happened.

The cocktail hour took place in the Tree Top Lounge and the wedding reception took place in the Tree Top Room. Colleen Calzaretta, Director of Service was such a breath of fresh air to work with. She made sure that every detail was beautiful. Jen and Sam took dance lessons in preparation for their big day. Their hard work paid off, as they both looked incredible dancing their first dance together as husband and wife!

Jen and Sam took their time before entering into this union as they dated for 10 years before getting engaged and married and it was so touching to see these two amazing families become one!

Sam’s mother Candi was diagnosed with lung cancer prior to the wedding. At the time of the wedding, she was in hospice. This extraordinary woman got out of bed and said, “nothing will stop me from attending my son’s wedding.” SHE MADE IT! Although, I only spent a short time with her I could tell she was an amazing woman. One could see the happiness she brought to everyone during the occasion. It was heartwarming to see Sam dance with her. 

Candi passed about a week after the wedding. Please rest in peace Candi you will forever be remembered. It was an honor to meet you.

During the wedding reception, we snuck outside to capture more magical moments!

Boston Public Garden Family Photo Shoot in Boston, MA | Alina, Mom & Dad

I recently had the pleasure of capturing some beautiful family photographs of Alina and her parents at the Boston Public Gardens.

We were originally worried that it might rain but it was a beautiful Sunday morning in May.  

Alina choose The Boston Public Gardens in Boston Ma as it provided a perfect backdrop. Boston Public Garden, is a large park in the heart of Boston, MA, adjacent to Boston Common.

Alina and her family were absolute naturals as you can see in some of my favorite shots.  

From the blooming tulips to the swan boats The Boston Pubic Gardens was the perfect location to capture this amazing families photographs.

The Boston Walk for Hunger was also taking place while we were there which was super interesting to Alina’s parents being that they were visiting from Russia and leaving the very next day.

Maternity and Newborn Photo Shoot Webb Memorial State Park Weymouth, MA | Diana & Gee

I recently had the pleasure of capturing Diana & Gee's maternity photographs on a beautiful morning in May at Webb Memorial State Park in Weymouth, Ma. Located just minutes south of Boston, Ma Webb Memorial State Park provided an amazing back drop for this loving couples photo's.

Diana looked stunning be it on the beach or along any of the other beautiful areas Webb State Park offered, her maternity photos are breath taking

Webb Memorial State Park is a local recreation area on a peninsula that extends close to half a mile into the Hingham Bay area of Boston Harbor. It is made up of three connected drumlins and a low marsh area.
